LIFE by ANONYMOUS

First Line: I'VE SEEN THE MOONBEAM'S SHINING LIGHT
Last Line: "I'VE LEARNED AT LAST THAT IT IS MEET, / TO ACCEPT JUSTLY WHAT IS RIGHT"

I've seen the moonbeam's shining light;
I've watched the lamb clouds in the night,
As stars shone clear and bright.

I've heard the mighty ocean's roar,
Lashing the waves against the shore,
While stormy was the night.

I've seen the bitter, seen the sweet,
I've learned at last that it is meet,
To accept justly what is right.
