MY LITTLE MAID by ANONYMOUS

First Line: HEY DIDDLE DOUT / MY CANDLE'S OUT
Last Line: AND SOME SHE GAVE TO THE TRUCKLER'S DOG

HEY diddle dout,
My candle's out,
My little maid's not at home;
Saddle the hog,
And bridle the dog,
And fetch my little maid home.

Home she came, trittity trot,
She asked for the porridge she left in the pot;
Some she ate, and some she shod,
And some she gave to the truckler's dog.
