NATIONAL DIFFERENCES by ANONYMOUS

First Line: THE FRENCHMAN LOVES HIS NATIVE WINE
Last Line: HE DRINKS THE WHOLE DAMNED BUSINESS
Subject(s): DRINKS & DRINKING;NATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS;

The Frenchman loves his native wine,
The German loves his beer,
The Englishman his 'arf and 'arf
Because it brings good cheer;
The Scotchman loves his whiskey straight,
Because it brings on dizziness;
The American has no choice at all—
He drinks the whole damned business.
