THE ORIGIN OF SKY

was from the light of his own robe
he took & stretched it
like a robe the skies
were rolling out from
he figured that should do it
in Shadai's words "shall do"
-- became his name then --
then firmed it up (they say)
"thy covering of thyself
"with light
"is like a robe
"the way thou stretchest the sky out
"'s like a curtain

THE ORIGIN OF EARTH

took snow or ice
-- 'twas underneath his throne --
& dropped it on
the waters
then they became congealed
earth's crust was formed from it
(they say)
"he tells the snow
"be earth
