THE SUMMER GIRL by ANONYMOUS

First Line: SWEET SUMMER GIRL WITH CURLING TRESSES
Last Line: "FAR AWAY FROM CITY'S WHIRL / WE WILL MEET YOU, SUMMER GIRL"
Subject(s): FLIRTATION;

SWEET summer girl with curling tresses,
Loving eyes, and dainty dresses;
In birch canoe or shaded nook;
Climbing mountains, gathering flowers;
Flirting in secluded bowers, --
Whether you be fair or dark,
Fond of sketching or a "lark,"
Far away from city's whirl
We will meet you, summer girl.
