VERSES FOR CHILDREN: CHRISTMAS TREE, by                
First Line: We boys and girls all love the tree
Last Line: To tell old santa claus just why.

We boys and girls all love the tree
That Santa trims on Christmas Eve;
But we have wondered now and then
Why the trimmings are ten times ten.

A tree so pretty, green and tall
Does not need any trimming at all;
But guess it is no use to try
To tell Old Santa Claus just why.
