Our club is just a friendly band
Of common folk whose aims are high --
To love and serve our native land,
To greet our Master in the sky.

We long to make the whole world bright,
Our interests are both far and near;
To shun the wrong, to do the right,
We try to teach our children dear.

Our days are full of happy things,
But then sometimes there's sorrow too;
It seems the hours go by with wings,
We always have so much to do.

We may not always know what's best,
But if we err our hearts are right;
Each day is just another test
Of living, striving for the light.

Each kindly deed's a steppingstone
That leads the way to heights above,
A friendly smile can oft atone,
E'en more be done with words of love.

We're just a joyous little band
Of old-time friends, and new ones too;
United, let us take this stand,
To do our best and carry through.
