OLD ETCHINGS, by MARGIE B. BOSWELL First Line: Through night's dark veil of shadow-lace Last Line: From suns that move beyond the tomb. Subject(s): Sky | ||||||||
Through night's dark veil of shadow-lace The sky reveals in starry frame Bright constellations that embrace The beauty born of fog and flame. They signal triumph over time -- The mystery of change and chances Beyond the bourn of pantomime And passing meteoric lances. The morning hour knows not the spell Of starlit arrows piercing gloom, Releasing light where shadows dwell From suns that move beyond the tomb. | Other Poems of Interest...TWILIT REVELATION by LEONIE ADAMS THE SMALL SELF AND THE LIBERAL SELF by JAMES GALVIN BUILDING A PAINTING A HOME by BOB HICOK HEAD SKY CONVOY PATTERN; I.M.
