Cease then t' afflict, and show that heart some ease, Which in offences never gave thee none, Unless it was in striving best to please; Therein indeed it hath been very prone, And that thou know'st; there's none doth know so well, How my poor love did run in full career, My daily presence did my passions tell, My daily passions in thy presence were. O happy time when thy sweet presence gave it, But now I have most need I cannot have it.
