HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 5, by WILLIAM BOSWORTH Poet's Biography First Line: Else why should I complain of this mischance Last Line: I'm thine, and thou may'st use me as thou list. Alternate Author Name(s): William Boxworth | ||||||||
Else why should I complain of this mischance, had it not been contrary to thy vows? With tears thou mad'st them, and what furtherance, Of signs were more, Heav'n's ruler only knows. Heav'n knows my faith, how I have loyal been, And have not broke the smallest string of love. To see my constance will augment thy sin, How loyal I, how wav'ring thou dost prove; But 'twas thy will, that I thy favour mist: I'm thine, and thou may'st use me as thou list. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 1 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 10 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 11 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 12 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 13 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 14 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 15 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 16 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 17 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 18 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 19 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH HINC LACHRIMAE; OR THE AUTHOR TO AURORA: 2 by WILLIAM BOSWORTH |
