God's mirror of the mountains,
God's mirror of the pines,
A bowl of sparkling fountains,
Earth's font of purest wines.
Lake of the morning's glories,
Lake of the evening's calms,
Thy mirror films the stories
Of heaven's holy psalms.
My soul in adoration
Bows in silent prayers
To Thee, God of creation,
Whose earth with heaven compares.
