First Line: Poor little robin with a broken wing
Last Line: He'll make a delicious tidbit for kitty's greed.
Subject(s): Birds; Robins; Wings

Poor little robin with a broken wing,
The object of some boy's sling;
Left to die upon the ground,
But of his anguish, he makes no sound --
For as he fell, he spied old Tabby-cat,
His life is doom'd, he's sure of that;
Though he tried to hide behind a weed,
He'll make a delicious tidbit for kitty's greed.
