The forces that control the paths of storms Have taken me and hurled me down the ways Where now, with certainty and least delays, I must translate the purpose that performs The laws of destiny for worlds and men. So I have come tonight to meet your lips And pour ambition to your fingertips That there may be unrest where peace has been. The thing is done in spite of me -- believe This strange deception is not consonant With my compassion for your loyalty.
