Beauty is my creed,
From sordidness may I be freed;
Beauty of soul and beauty of face,
Beauty of faith found every place.

Beauty in glen and forest tree,
Beauty in mountain and meadow and sea,
Beauty of deed and active mind—
Yes, beauty of every kind.

Beauty of body, O! form of grace,
Down through the ages love of beauty we trace;
The wise old sages of Greece—
Crowned beauty the soul of eternal peace.
