CHOPIN'S 'SONATA IN B MINOR' (JACQUES ABRAM), by JR. DARK ROBERT L. First Line: Sound prismed in jet globules were encased Last Line: Pellucid immortality ears conceive. Subject(s): Abram, Jacques (1915-1998); Music & Musicians | ||||||||
Sound prismed in jet globules were encased Within the bounds of a long sarcophagus Of lines and spaces by a mind that raced Beyond the close confines which limit us Of mortal stature. Sound like this once sealed In hieroglyphics such as these are dead Until ten fleshly tapers draw revealed And lambent glories from their legend. Bled Of earthiness those fingers resurrect That finer life wherein the senses live In harmony with Titan intellect Extracting all that either one may give. -- Clairvoyant beauties scintillate and weave Pellucid immortality ears conceive. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...LINER NOTES TO AN IMAGINARY PLAYLIST by TERRANCE HAYES VARIATIONS: 13 by CONRAD AIKEN BELIEVE, BELIEVE by BOB KAUFMAN ROUND ABOUT MIDNIGHT by BOB KAUFMAN MUSIC by CHARLOTTE FISKE BATES THE POWER OF MUSIC by CHARLOTTE FISKE BATES TRANSCENDENTAL FUGUE (FOR WILLIAM R.
