Dreaming of a prince, Cinderella sat among the ashes long ago; Dreaming of a prince, She scoured the pots and kettles till they shone; and so, After all and after all, Gaily at the castle ball Cinderella met her prince long and long ago! Dreaming of a prince, Sleeping Beauty lay in happy slumber, white and still; Dreaming of a prince, She waited for a hundred years, and then his bugles shrill, After all and after all, Woke the castle, bower, and hall, And he found her waiting him long and long ago!
