Wind of the summer
Through the lush leaves winding
Dreams that murmur
Love, our hearts close binding;

Shaking fragrance
Out the drooping petals
Night's soft radiance
Caresses, while it settles

'Round us as incense,
Poignant, cloying with memories
Waiting's recompense --
Hesperus, bearer of memories!
