THY TEMPLE; A PRAYER, by
First Line: Thy temple may my body be
Last Line: May my foot find no hidden stone.
Subject(s): Prayer; Temples; Mosques

Thy Temple may my body be,
Where Thou canst come and dwell with me,
Beyond Thine eye I cannot go,
No thought of mine Thou dost not know.

There is no place on land or sea
Where man can hide himself from Thee.
As I now kneel beneath Thine eye,
O Blessed Saviour, hear my cry.

Give Thine Angels charge o'er me,
That I may ever faithful be,
As I here tread earth's paths unknown,
May my foot find no hidden stone.
