These sweet and heart-filled days
Have brought a fear:

Perhaps our love is like the glamour
Of my pale perfumes
That soon with subtle mystery
Will disappear.

Back to its phial
I bring a little of my soul.
I pour the taunting scent,
To stay evaporation
To keep some fragrance still unspent...
