Listen to the rippling waters
Whispering to the unseen Power,
As they roll and ripple inward --
Rippling, rolling hour by hour.
Of what mystery do they whisper
As they come and as they go,
Keeping up an endless converse
In their ebb and in their flow.
Who is it to whom they whisper,
Who is it they ever laud?
Never do they lag nor weary --
They are talking with their God.
