First Line: Is there a bitter kernel set
Last Line: Forgets the laughter?


Is there a bitter kernel set
In a man's heart that he will cherish
The memory of dregs, and let
The grapes perish?

And is the lute, the song he learned,
Less than the broken meats of after,
That he laments the candle burned ...
Forgets the laughter?
