INGRATITUDE, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: When burdened by a load of care
Last Line: Content as parasites to live.
Subject(s): Ingratitude; Ungratefulness

WHEN burdened by a load of care,
How many kneel in fervent prayer;
And yet forget to render praise
When blessings crown the after days.
Receiving all, they nothing give,
Content as parasites to live.
