WHAT JEWEL IS LEFT?, by
First Line: What shall my empty eyes behold
Last Line: When the very spark is dead?
Subject(s): Dreams; Jewelry & Jewelers; Night; Nightmares; Rings; Bracelets; Necklaces; Bedtime

What shall my empty eyes behold
Now that my dream is gone?
How shall I barter without gold?
What jewel is left to pawn?

What motive be my bread and meat?
How shall I live at all?
Where shall I turn my weary feet
Now there's no dream to call?

How end the dark of this long night
From whence the stars have fled?
Is there a way to kindle light
When the very spark is dead?
