With your screams you have composed his name. And every scream is one of the letters which names you. To learn my name from the sign. To spell and fear, to cherish and flee it. To learn reading my life in the Book of the Dead. Anguish glows above the ashes. On the log the flame takes its revenge against the forest. To reach the sky where the fire spreads. Day recovers its unity. Morning by morning, night by night. . . . . . . . . . Used with the permission of Copper Canyon Press, P.O.
