RUNNING AWAY FROM HOME, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: I was so certain yesterday
Last Line: I'll hurry home to mother now.
Subject(s): Children; Escapes; Fear; Solitude; Childhood; Fugitives; Loneliness

I was so certain yesterday
It would be fun to run away;
It never once occurred to me
How dreadful lonesome it would be.
And if this really is a cow
I'll hurry home to mother now.
