SONG AT DUSK, by
First Line: There are no flashing tongues of fire
Last Line: God has been so good.
Subject(s): Gratitude; Love

There are no flashing tongues of fire
But only embers dying
And that is just, for it is dusk—
Light should be gone.
But in my heart there is no gloom, or sadness
No pain in bidding day good bye
For I have lived this day
I have been rich loving you.
I could ask no more
God has been so good.
