First Line: My loved one's words on yesterday
Last Line: Upon a pool of tears.
Subject(s): Regret

My loved one's words on yesterday
Were gay and living things,
White butterflies that brushed my heart
On sun-glanced, fluttering wings.

But when I lost them from my heart
And sought them down the years,
I found them drifting in the wind --
Upon a pool of tears.
