Subject(s): God; Jesus Christ; Lips; Sin

O LAMB of God, O little infant lying
Between the ox and ass, within the stall,
Absolve us of the sin that stains us all
With thy sweet, delicate hand all-purifying.

O Lamb of God, O little infant laden
With all the shame that Man has heaped on earth,
Now dissipate our night and pulse to birth
With light of innocence our soul-sought Aidenn.

O Lamb of God, O little infant, sigh it!
-- Thy word that wakes auroral cool and calm.
Drop from thy lips the petals of thy balm!
Drop from thy lips thy syllables of quiet!
