HER FACE, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: There was a look upon her face
Last Line: To age or rime.
Subject(s): Beauty

There was a look upon her face
Of gardens that are touched by frost --
A look that shot a pang through hearts
The loved her most.

And yet it wore the loveliness
Of all that is subdued by time --
A beauty that can never yield
To age or rime.
