COME TO HIM, by ORVILLE LAWRENCE KUHN First Line: From out the syrian sky an angel host Last Line: To come to him. Subject(s): Birth; Child Birth; Midwifery | ||||||||
From out the Syrian sky an angel host, the heavenly host, came down to see the Holy Child. In from the hills the shepherds came to see of whom the angels sing. And from the blue there came a star and stood to mark His birth. Into the west came wise men traveling across the desert sands to meet the King. Into the Light of Life I come to meet my Lord, the Child of Bethlehem, the One who bids by angel host, by star to come to Him. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...WHY I AM AFRAID OF TURNING THE PAGE by CATE MARVIN ACCIDENTS OF BIRTH by WILLIAM MEREDITH ONE FOR ALL NEWBORNS by THYLIAS MOSS CURRICULUM VITAE by LISEL MUELLER FOUND IN THE CABBAGE PATCH by LISEL MUELLER THE GOOD SAMARITAN by ORVILLE LAWRENCE KUHN |
