Something makes you strong and good:
You have wisdom that I need --
You who sprang from a tiny seed.
Ere my childhood you had stood,
Giant tree within the wood;
Generations come and go --
You with upward vision grow.
Beneath your spreading arms we stand --
Make us strong and calm and grand.
We'd be like you if we could,
Giant tree within the wood.
