Glorious weather.
Chantecler has called.
The morning laughs in the dew;
The magpie's in the grass
And the snail on the eglantine.
The sun draws the heavy curtain of mist
From over the countryside.
A young woman appears
Drawing the light curtain of her casement—
And it is morning in my heart.
