Francis of Assisi, Gentle saint, Who loved your brother men, Who loved all brother creatures -- Francis, Little Brother, Who loved the Feast of Christmas And fashioned, long ago, a Christmas manger That your brother men and birds and beasts Might see and live the beautiful story Of the birth of the little Lord Jesus -- Might join in worship and praise -- Little Brother of us all, Come walk the earth once more!
