FLOWERTIME WEATHER, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: When you and I are together
Last Line: It is everywhere winter to me.
Subject(s): Absence; Cold; Winter; Separation; Isolation

WHEN you and I are together,
That makes for me flowertime weather,
Albeit the rain
Beats harsh on the pane,
And November lies brown on the lea.

But alas for my flowertime weather
When we are no longer together!
Though June hold the land
In the palm of her hand,
It is everywhere Winter to me.
