Father in Heaven, lift us into the light, The blessedness and peace of Christmastide, That in Thy fellowship we may abide, Ponder Thy love, length, wideness, depth and height, Until we lose all sense of care or fright, Assured the Star of Bethlehem will guide Our earthly way, whatever may betide, Until we reach the Home that knows no night. Oh, let the grace of Christ transform our strife, Impart to us a resolute Good Will And make us emissaries of Good Cheer, The true reflectors of The Light of Life; Grant us the Christmas joyance to instill In gloomy spirits, through the coming year. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...THE END OF LIFE by PHILIP JAMES BAILEY SEVEN TWILIGHTS: 6 by CONRAD AIKEN THE BOOK OF THE DEAD MAN (#19): 2.
