Subject(s): Evening; Light; Sky; Stars; Sunset; Twilight

I now recall how very dear
The going was for outside cheer,
But blue-sky lift a yellow sun
And birds at song when day begun,
At high of noon no shadow fall
Just blue and blue and golden pall.
The sun afire, the smoky air
A twilight rose spread here and there.
Then midnight dark with star and star,
No other light -- however far.
