WE LOVE TO SUFFER, by
First Line: I am a celt
Last Line: And found her glory in a thorn-pressed brow?
Subject(s): Celts; Pain; Suffering; Misery

I am a Celt
And it is given me
To weep as easily as I may laugh;
I could enjoy my tears eternally.

Must I admit
Beyond denial now
That Erin sought her happiness in grief
And found her glory in a thorn-pressed brow?
