Within this place of prayer;
The pure, white flame of candles
Burning on altar there;
The sheltering strength of arches wide,
The joy and peace that here abide,
The mystic sense of beauty felt
Where humble hearts in prayer have knelt,
All these and more, O spirit free,
All these and more, thou art to me.
