A lad once dreamed he would be king,
A lad from Nazareth town;
That he would sit upon a throne
And wear imperial crown ...

And by and by the dream came true
He dreamed in Galilee,
And he was lifted up so high
That all the world could see ...

He there was lifted up against
The dark horizon's rim;
He bore a Cross to Calvary
And it exalted Him.
