A POEM FOR THE HIGH PRIEST, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: Like a tent / stretched tight
Subject(s): Jews; Mysticism - Judaism; Judaism

like a tent
stretched tight
around the ones who live
above
was the appearance of the priest

like lightning
breaking from
the brightness of
his beasts
was the appearance of the priest

like knots
the knotting at
the four
extremities
was the appearance of the priest

like the rainbow's
image
in middle of
the cloud
was the appearance of the priest

like the splendor
which
he wrapped
o Rock
around his fashionings
was the appearance of the priest

like a rose
set in
the middle of
the garden
of sweet love
was the appearance of the priest

like a headband
set upon
the forehead
of a king
was the appearance of the priest

like the love
that settled on
the bridegroom's
face
was the appearance of the priest

like the clear light
set within
his turban's
light
was the appearance of the priest

like the man who sits
in secret
to entreat
a king
was the appearance of the priest

like the star
called brightness
at the limits of
the east
was the appearance of the priest
