GARDEN DREAMS, by
First Line: Moonlight rests white fingers
Last Line: Long hidden from our sight.
Subject(s): Winter

Moonlight rests white fingers
On my garden's breast,
The wind says -- "Hush 'tis sleeping,
Quiet is its rest."

But O, I know, beneath the snow,
Like soaring wings its dreams alight,
Waking every flowering grace
Long hidden from our sight.
