No room that night for them In olden Bethlehem -- For Joseph and Mary So travel-worn and weary. No place for them at all Save lowly cattle stall, So there the Lord was born That holy Christmas morn. To shepherds on the plain Angels did not disdain, To bring good news for earth Or sing His holy birth. May we this Christmas day To Him our homage pay, Till earth her joy shall sing And crown Messiah King! | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...RICHARD, WHAT'S THAT NOISE? by RICHARD HOWARD LOOKING FOR THE GULF MOTEL by RICHARD BLANCO RIVERS INTO SEAS by LYNDA HULL DESTINATIONS by JOSEPHINE JACOBSEN THE ONE WHO WAS DIFFERENT by RANDALL JARRELL THE CONFESSION OF ST.
