YOUR ROSARY, by NAOMI REYNOLDS First Line: Half awake Last Line: Your faith shall prove enough for two. Subject(s): Faith; Rosary; Belief; Creed | ||||||||
Half awake, I feel your cool smooth pillow; Wakening, I slip my hand beneath and clasp Your rosary, until the beads cut far into my hands. It was for you to touch them lovingly, To ponder on their holy mysteries. Enough for me, Only to press them close and know Your faith shall prove enough for two. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...UNHOLY SONNET 4 by MARK JARMAN QUIA ABSURDUM by ROBINSON JEFFERS GOING TO THE HORSE FLATS by ROBINSON JEFFERS SONNET TO FORTUNE by LUCY AIKEN JONATHAN EDWARDS IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS by ROBERT LOWELL RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION by MINA LOY |
