PARKED CARS AT NIGHT, by
First Line: All night / every night
Last Line: Pawing in the dark cars.
Subject(s): Automobiles; Night; Cars; Bedtime

All night,
Every night,
The dark cars line the curbstone;
Some wait, empty,
For morning and their owners;
But some hold lovers,
Cheap, or impatient,
Or merely clandestine;
Tawdry, shabby trysting:
Pawing in the dark cars.
