What go wid all de flies I kill? Dey ain't upon de flo', I flips and flops de flapper fan But can't see whar dey go. I knows I kills 'em wid dat lick Dey bound not to escape, I flips and flops de flapper fan Until my po' arms ache. My misus she get so upsot To see 'em flyin' roun', She make me flip de flapper fan Clean till de sun go down. I tells you whut, sho' as you born Dese flies am like a cat, Dey flips and flops wid seven lives Den come back whar dey at. I doesn't like vacation days I finds de town de best. Dese country flies hab hateful ways Gib me de home fo' rest. Fo' when out here I goes to bed So tired my po' eyes weep.
