George Washington, a name to love and revere. He lived a life immune to fear. Unselfish service makes his name to all so dear, On history's pages, our most honored seer. His constant loyalty to mother, wife, and home Made him trusted and loved where'er he'd roam. His unerring faith in God Made his life for others a measuring rod. Towards bitt'rest enemy he'd never take revenge. On the rights of dearest friend he'd not infringe. So loyal, so faithful, so selfless, so true!
