MONITOR, by MARTHA LINSLEY SPENCER First Line: A long time ago Last Line: "from having lived so many years in a heated apartment." Subject(s): Conscience; Memory | ||||||||

Then, I thought of my great-aunt Sarah Long, long ago, And I said, "Conscience, You must have become a little warped From having lived so many years in a heated apartment." | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...MEMORY AS A HEARING AID by TONY HOAGLAND THE SAME QUESTION by JOHN HOLLANDER FORGET HOW TO REMEMBER HOW TO FORGET by JOHN HOLLANDER ON THAT SIDE by LAWRENCE JOSEPH MEMORY OF A PORCH by DONALD JUSTICE BEYOND THE HUNTING WOODS by DONALD JUSTICE SEPTEMBER DAY by MARTHA LINSLEY SPENCER |
