MAGIC NIGHT, by
First Line: From my window
Last Line: Are silenced in sleep.
Subject(s): Night; Bedtime

From my window
High above the city
I watch the blue
Mysterious glow
That comes at twilight.
I watch it float
Over the great canyons
That are lined
With forests of grey stone.
Slowly the city
Becomes myriad windows
Playing notes in their scale,
Flashing melodies
Out on the blue of night.
I watch
Until the empty eyes
Are silenced in sleep.
