Give me, not folded wings,
Give me but stronger pinions
That I may fly from world to world,
Gathering as I go
Impetus to soar
Higher and higher;
Resting awhile to bathe my being
In the wondrous beauty I behold.
Oh, let me live
And live forevermore
With God!
Give me, not folded wings!
