You shall forever be
Lovelier than the far cry
Of snowy wings against the sky.

To me you are
Lovelier than the lovely scent
Of a small spray of purple hyacinth.
To me you are
Lovelier than clouds of white
In quiet display against the night.

To me --
You shall forever be
Lovelier than the all-giving sun
Flaming forever for my lovely one.
